Griffin and Phoenix

I am writing this right after seeing this movie - Griffin and Phoenix. What can I say 999,999 out 10! Superb. The movie moved me to tears so to speak.

The movie kicks off with Robert Mulroney (one of my favorite romantic leading guys) being diagnosed with a terminal sickness, a rare lung disease. He's got two kids who live with their mum - they're separated. His condition became an eye-opener for him to do things, special things which became more special when he met Phoenix. Phoenix is a very attractive academician whose life will change after meeting Sara Griffin - a funny meeting. The lives of two people will change and will never be the same forever...

The movie will take you to a roller coaster ride of emotions. It is generally sad but it has a nice touch of surprise in it. One moment you will be on the verge of tears and then a remark from Griffin or Sara will leave you smiling. It is a bittersweet story of love but still is a love story. It is also a story of life, how precious and fragile life is. As I've said it is a sad movie but then it won't leave you heart broken.

When is the last time you cherished doing something mundane like holding a pen? When was the last time you took time to focus on something other than your day-to-day work? When was the last time you let yourself enjoy the simplest things like LAUGHING? When was the last time you gave yourself a chance to love and be loved? These are the questions the movie left me...

I know why I simply love this movie. I did not just simply enjoyed it... I learned from it. Go ahead and watch it, you'll love it!
